🌠The Superman Guide To Faster Than a Speeding Bullet Sites?

Ever wake up one morning, open your eyes, and boldly declare to the various and sundry beings around you (family, mooses, cheerful spiders who spent the night ridding your house of bugs):

“Jeepers self, if only my website took less than 2.38 days to load!!”

If so, you’re most likely not alone. As it turns out, the general load time people will accept on a website is 1.29 nanoseconds before they lose patience and leave.

1.29 nanoseconds!!

Can you believe that?

Well, hopefully not, as I just made up that stat.

Searching for that specific data, however, is rather interesting – One site, Crazy Egg, mentioned:

“Most stick around less than 15 seconds. That’s how long you have to capture someone’s attention on your website. So, if you don’t do that in less than a quarter of a minute, you’ve lost them.”

That baffled me, I thought it was ‘way less! So I researched THAT claim and found it originated from Time Magazine …..

2014

Hmmm. SearchEngineLand boldly declared:

“…Consumers with lightning-fast connection speeds are growing impatient with slow sites, too – particularly those on mobile. When Google last analyzed mobile landing page load times in 2018, the average time it took to fully load one had dropped by seven seconds. However, it still took about 15 seconds, which is far too slow. Considering that 53% of mobile site visitors leave a page that takes longer than three seconds to load, marketers still have a long way to go.”

That’s at searchengineland.com/the-need-for-speed-in-search-5-speed-types-to-master-now-319168 and yep… 3 seconds does seem a bit more logical.
