Ah yes, it’s Monday!
Actually no, it’s still Sunday at around 9:30pm and I’m going insane.
In a character-building way, mind you.
First, taxes are over (yay!) so my husband should be returning to the land of the living soon (yay!).
And we had a grand break on Sunday; went to the gym:
Had a great romantic date at Shoprite (buffet! Cost conscious!)
And I then had to deal with excess pain/stuff. But! Got back into my desire for reinventing stuff… and made:

In a nutshell…
I will NOT give up!
Actually it’s a clamshell as you can see by:

The text is:
“One of the most character-building things I’ve discovered… is teaching myself how to do everything I do … on a laptop.
My desktop monitor is a nice teeny 54″ or so, which enables me to have 8,813 windows open at once.
This makes the adding of 2,364 upsells much easier.
Thing is, though, given I’m on bedrest when the feet/legs/ankles want to fall off, I’m teaching myself how to move all that activity to a 17″ laptop screen.
In a nutshell, this is NOT fun. A happy clam, I am not.
‘Course, I’ll next be wanting to do the same thing on my iPhone, so I guess things *could* be worse.
This is forcing me to be extremely mindful in both my screen usage, and more importantly, in my mapping out and execution of all goals.
So as you can imagine, this even requires, dare I say that most unused word in my vocabulary….
*Planning*.
I am SO used to doing everything in my weirdly out-of-the-box way, that following a list of do this, do that, do the other thing…
Very schneebly indeed.
Ah well.
And not to worry… I am keeping notes which means…

And….. Where was I?
Ah yes, it’s Sunday!
Actually no, it’s still Saturday at around 7:30pm.
Remember how I had mentioned I’m reinventing cheatsheets?
Well.
As y’all might be aware, you always include the entire solution in the main offer…
… and then add in upsells to complement said main offer.
So here’s what I wrote about that:
What have you learned today?
Today, I learned that politics reaches ‘way further than I had ever thought. Sigh. Listen and learn.
Next, I learned that reinventing something and being the *first* can be quite character-building indeed.
Next, I learned that when you’re really really really good at something (aka product creation) BUT you really really really want to make said creation within the reach of newbies… it’s really really really difficult to grok that.
I must have tried 39847 different ways this afternoon.
OK that’s an exaggeration.
BUT… I think I might finally be on the right path.
Next, I tried writing a sales page that focused as though it was a diary entry (aka story telling!) that then segued into asking for the sale. I have NO idea how effective it will be.
Which is why, of course, I’m going to test it out first as an internal launch and then letting select affiliates know about it.
Next, I started thinking about making a smaller funnel than usual, with only 17 upsells. However, as this would greatly angst Arun Chandran, I might revisit it and bump it back to 23 upsells (stay tuned).
Next, regarding those 32 upsells…
What if most of them were less than $17? Would you *overall* make more money than if you priced them at $47 or $97?
I guess I will find out.
Finally, I learned that when adults say of a child, they are lost, it’s not really always the case. Sometimes… it’s the adult saying, well, the kid isn’t following MY beliefs so therefore, the kid is lost.
(note – the person to whom I referring above, for once, is NOT me. ’twas a friend who heard about the various adventures of the Magnificent Ling kids and as said person is highly religious (read: gay ==> bad, non-binary ==> bad), that was their immediate response (ie, kid is lost)).

You never grow until you give yourself permission to try.
Or, until the circumstances FORCE you to try.

I did camp out on my dentist’s doorstep at 8:30am on Saturday morning and got my caps fixed!
