Talk about scientific experiments – I can truly appreciate this one, as my daughter took part in something vaguely (okay not really) similar when she was 3! The scientist involved wanted to see how Honorable Daughter II would react if she was given a doll and the leg fell off. Knowing HBII quite well, I informed the person that she will NOT respond the way they’re expecting!
The experiment commenced, HBII was given a doll, the doll’s leg fell off, and the person came in to basically ask her, was it her fault? Did she feel responsible? And as HBII is quite well known for taking ownership of HER problems (and not that of defective merchandise), she steadfastly insisted, no, it wasn’t her fault. 🙂
