So!
Let me completely knock you broadsided with this unique question.
How are you going to simplify your life in 2010?
As a dynamic maverick marketing, mom and moose-wrangler…I confess, that question has really been on the forefront of my mind lately.
And here’s why.
I’ve done pretty well for meself these past few years…and recently, with the way my family is growing, my priorities are shifting.
I’ve had a great run now since 1998…but methinks it’s time for me let some of my work retire or at least hand it off for a period of time.
And that’s why…I’m considering selling my Virtual Coach brand.
I’ve already had people approach me regarding that – it’s both the site
and the blog/tools/forum/etc. that I’ve built up over the years.
I’m not YET certain that I will do this….or perhaps, if indeed I do…I’ll still keep my hand in, depending upon the agreement/marketing/money involved. For example, one guy asked me:
"If I buy your domain, can you still promote me on your BarbaraLing.com and other sites?"
That would all depend of course; I’m happy to promote regarding affiliate links and the like, and also to help out a newly designed brand as well.
So we’ll see! If you’re interested in buying both the domain and the brand, drop me a line.
But let’s now turn the topic here back to the most important person reading it….YOU!
- Have YOU taken stock of your 2009?
- Are YOU taking stock of your proposed 2010?
If so…
Can you….
Tell me….
What on earth….
Will Be Different?
Hmmm?
Remember, the SMART people do NOT keep hitting their head against a brick wall because it feels so darned good when they stop!
Ask yourself:
List the new challenges you took on.
I myself wrote Income Fitness, started my forums, and built several sites.
List what worked.
- For me it was building my Twitter following, my forums and my sites. Income Fitness, because it’s not perceived as evergreen, did not do as well as it should have. 🙁
List what DIDN’T work.
- For me, writing the ebook didn’t work as best as it could. The followup affiliate marketing, however, did. As did the sites.
List what you’ll CHANGE.
- For me, I’m going to focus more on my family and let someone else handle the mantle of Virtual Coach….assuming, of course, we can come to a hefty financial agreement.
But what about YOU?
What will YOU do differently?
Feel free to post about that over at our forums….we’d love to hear your ideas.
Remember…when it comes right down to it, the only person on whom you can count…100%….is YOU.
Nobody else.
So make it worth your while.
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling
