Okay, I'll admit it.
I've been marketing online now since 1997 and if there's one thing I HATE, it's, well, seeing smart folk like you being sucked into the ridiculous notion you're simply a hopeless case UNLESS you buy Product XYZ yesterday.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a marketer too, and I also sell glorious, godlike products that, when followed, I guarantee will smoosh your learning curve faster than Godzilla called for his dinner bill when visiting Tokyo.
But! I never tell people that if they do NOT have my products, they will fail.
'cause that's stupid.
How on earth could I possibly know that?
For all I know, you grew up with a browser as your blankie and The Joy of Selling as your primary reading material!
But here's the point that REALLY frosts my petunias.
It seems that the most popular "gurus" online…make the majority of their money by their affiliates hyping up their MUST HAVE YESTERDAY ELSE YOU WILL DIE! products.
And that's a cryin' shame.
Sure, marketing might be new to you. And yes, you might approach selling with as much scintillating enthusiasm as performing a do-it-at-home vasectomy too.
But that doesn't mean you can't learn it on your own.
Let me repeat that.
But that doesn't mean you can't learn it on your own.
It's easy to do, you know.
You simply have to give yourself permission to get on Google and other sites…then begin your own research and test out your own new ideas.
That's all there is to it.
Now, true, that does take time. And yes, time is money (which is why buying products that reduce your learning curve and get you profitable faster than you could yourself…is a Good Thing indeed).
But if you have that time to spare, by all means! You OWE it to yourself to zoom over to Google and search for
and begin your journey towards mastery TODAY. ('course, if you DO want the shortcuts and don't want to waste time searching everything out, you can investigate Expert Groundwork, my guide that gives you all the social traffic attraction basics resources in less than 25 pages).
Shun the gurus who tell you what you NEED…and gift yourself with the confidence that you can learn.
Your bottom line will thank you for it.
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling
