Talk about telling the future!
I wrote this post exactly a year ago:
Today’s Words of Wisdom emerged after successfully dealt with my children’s angst.
And it’s this:
Negative thoughts precede future contentedness.
They point to a critical crossroads in your life.
It puts things in a whole ‘nother perspective, eh?
To be honest with you, I have no idea what the issues were back then! But it’s pretty funny that I was writing about crossroads a year prior to what’s happening in my life today. 🙂
The good news is that my brace doctor called yesterday (yay!) and today I’ll be scheduling a fitting for my ankles. Two weeks from now, I’ll be seeing my surgeon to talk about options….so we’ll fall off that bridge when we get there. 🙂
Let’s see if I can manage to recreate yesterday’s post without losing it to the Great Big Huge WordPress chomp. First off, I had written about work….here are some of the great discussions happening on the forums.
- Why do I need a domain name?
- How do I get my blog to rank high in Google?
- How to make an animated Twitter avatar
- Twitter and Domain Registration – Godaddy
- FREE Video: 7 Day Profits
- Can you imagine people fighting over who can hand YOU their cash first
- Twitter Profit House
- Best way to host a garage sale?

What Income Fitness is NOT Part II
The weekend was great! Instead of hitting the usual 10-billion-people fireworks extravaganza that’s close by us, we attended a more local holiday display. It was really quite enjoyable (far more so than I had anticipated) – there was a local playground (happy kids! yay!), many more families with kids our age (more yays!), actually decent music (big huge bunches of yays!) and we even got home at a normal hour instead of waited for 2 hours in stand-still traffic. Kids had a blast!
Speaking of kids, Camp Ling is moving along quite peachy-like. All of my kids have built various and sundry sites but are really zooming into the creative aspect of it…instead of focusing on the make money aspect. Wah! But then again, even my 6 year old can drag and drop a website together, and my others can manually build their own wordpress blogs. I think these skills will really come in handy for the school year!
Thus, I’m modifying Camp Ling. True, they’re still doing the academics and the technical aspects of the Internet….but if they want to spread their wings regarding creative writing, making videos and the like…more power to ’em.
And that’s the latest,
Enjoy,
Barbara
