Today’s Quote of the Day

This quote popped up today in my mind while I was on Twitter and discussing the importance of self-confidence and the belief one MUST have in oneself.
The background was that one blogger had guest-posted for another…and the post generated a negative comment.
Now, this particular blogger is a great writer and has excellent ideas! And as we all know…you simply CANNOT make everyone happy…and it’s foolish even to try.
So I thought of the best possible metaphor regarding strengthening one’s self-confidence…and I was reminded of a candle’s flame. If it’s protected, even a hurricane cannot douse it!
The candle flame is YOUR self-confidence….and the shielding is YOUR belief in yourself.
Believe IN yourself…and nobody can douse your self-confidence. And you can take THAT to the bank.
