Today’s Words of Wisdom – Courage consists of….

Today’s Words of Wisdom are brought to you by the beverage that has been favored by the Gods across the galaxy (ie, coffee).

And it’s this:

Courage Consists….
Of Hanging On….
One Minute Longer

I first remember reading that phrase from an Albert Payson Terhune book back when I was a teenager.  The hero of the story (a young boy) was in danger of drowning in an icy river but kept repeating to himself, "Courage consists of hanging on…one minute longer."

It’s stayed with me to this day.
