Here’s today’s words of advice:
Think before you ask your mom or dad to buy a “flashlight” and then end up ordering a $27 Portal Special flashlight instead of the expected $7 thingee.
See, Mom then gets a notice about a purchase that she never knew happened. And the kid in question gets confused because the kid didn’t connect “over-expensive flashlight” with “what Mom expects”.
Sigh. Returning it tomorrow. Lesson learned.
What a delightful thingee to wake up to.
Elsewhere in Lingland, nice quiet weekend (yay!). Hopefully will get to gym (yay!). Took the family out for Vietnamese food and then cornered the market on Sparkling water (0 calories and it tastes great, especially the blueberry flavor!).

Elsewhere in Lingland, took the family out to the mall (and my kids snapchatted their experiences…. my. I prefer keeping snapchat for myself/personal …. not marketing!).
And! If you’re of the venerable age like me, you’ll love this:
My iPhone no longer connects to data. 🙁
So I boldly strolled to the Verizon store to debug it!
Took off the case.
Had them tweakize the phone.
Phone is shot. Wah!
Put on the case.
Enter our trip to the mall yesterday – I noticed the camera stopped working for front photos.
Asked my 13 year old to debug it.
He noticed I had put on the case backwards, so the camera was covered.
Sigh. 🙂
But! I did get to the gym to raise cane:

I said, nope, wasn’t me… but realize now… yes, it WAS me – I had the contractors over to determine why the room was freezing.
Sigh. Can’t believe I forgot that. Ah well – will make it right once the kid wakes up.

Need to scrub my list and remove those who haven’t opened emails….
Thing is, if images are NOT turned on, the email MIGHT have been seen… but aweber doesn’t know it.
WAH! That’s why if you could turn on your images just this one time….
