My main takeaways?
You own who you choose to promote.
If another person adds innuendo/etc. to their email, make a mental note – simply don’t promote that particular person in the future if you do not approve.
Give your customers credit enough to realize they will follow whom they choose to follow… if its you, great! If its not you, well, that’s their choice.
Provide the value to your customers and to hell with other marketers’ tactics.
Life is too short for drama unless it affects people whom you love.
