The Kingly Moose decided he wanted walkies at 12:15am or so.
And it was by sheer chance I saw my youngest texting at that time too about various/sundry things that required parental commenting.
It was a great chat but wow… woke up *so* late.
And in other news:
One of the most insidious challenges entrepreneurs have is dealing with depression.
Quite often, one feels a “need” to put forth a very positive outlook for their network/fanbase to see….
… but at times, that gets very tough to hold to.
Life happens, personal challenges happen, and you find yourself idly waiting in your car at a train crossing and thinking to yourself, Jeepers. Would it really make any difference if I ignored the gates?
Well, it certainly would!
Point number 1 – it would totally scar the train conductor. That’s pretty selfish to someone who never did anything to you.
More importantly, it would totally end the magnificence that was you.
So how do you deal with it?
Everyone has their own “best ways” of handling such things. I personally tend to retreat from the world (read: social media) and take a step back…
… or take the time and effort to transform those emotions into something positive (in my case, making money for my family).

First, let’s talk Chihuahuas.
It was bound to happen, you know.
First there was Google Panda.
Then Google Penguin.
Then Google T-Rex.
Then Google Venus FlyTrap.
Then Google Beak ‘o Doom.
But now?
That’s so…. so…… so last century!!!
Because now, not only is Google thinking about Search….
… it’s also embracing the FUTURE of the Internet:
AI (artificial Intelligence)!
Well, the idea behind chihuahuas who love muffins that is they’re sometimes a wee bit difficult to differentiate.

And one of the more interesting takeaways from their research is:
“… Google was the ultimate muffin identifier, returning “muffin” as its highest confidence label for 6 out of the 7 muffin images in our test set. The other APIs never returned “muffin” as the first label for any muffin picture, but instead related but less relevant labels like “bread”, “cookie”, or “cupcake”.
However, despite the string of successes, Google did fail on this specific muffin image, returning “snout” and “dog breed group” as predictions.
Even the world’s most advanced machine learning platforms are tripped up by our facetious chihuahua vs. muffin challenge! A human toddler beats deep learning when it comes to figuring what’s food and what’s Fido.”
And what’s YOUR takeaway from this?
1.) I implied that Google was naming its AI technology Chihuahua or Muffin. That is not the point.
2.) The point IS… is that machine recognition/learning/AI/etc. is getting more and more complex as the future steamrollers over us….
And who knows.
AI might actually make its way into Rich Text for future search engine rankings…
… so perhaps, educate yourself on it today.
