Ever wake up one morning and get hit over the head with things you cannot control, even before your morning coffee?
If so, the gods have earlobes, I can SO relate.
‘Cause, you know, the convo might involve myths.
Myths like:
“Did you know the Great Wall of China actually isn’t visible from space? At least not to the naked eye.”
Ever think of myths in relation to your marketing?
This articles does!
www.digitalmarketer.com/blog/digital-marketing-myths/
And some of the myths they bust include:
Digital Marketing Myth #1: More Traffic = More Money
Digital Marketing Myth #2: Your Ads Should Appeal to As Many People As Possible
Digital Marketing Myth #3: Email Is Dead
And with that particular myth, I’m snorting in disbelief so much over there at 12:40am that I think I’ll simply stop right there and get into marketing myths themselves.
See, quite often people believe something if its said often enough.
And quite often, that ‘said enough’ stuff really isn’t true.
I myself experienced that when I decided to tackle marketing my own way in my own style, and achieved successes everyone thought would not work at all.
It’s a case of hearing things, yay, but then *testing* them out yourself that you should do as well.
And such things could be captured in superb marketing blueprints too, like:
Step 1.) Never blindly follow the gurus
Step 2.) Give yourself permission to sing your own song
Step 3.) If it works, build off of that. If not, learn from the experience and try again (with the new knowledge you now have.
