Sometimes, you know…
Stress rules the world.
And a lot of times, both the way you treat people, and the way they treat you…
What happens if you had a bad day, and the person you were debating with… had no idea?
What if you were happily debating along and then whomp – the rug is yanked out of you from other reasons that send your blood pressure rocketing to the moon (and even back), resulting in you gently using a flamethrower to make your point (the word Tweeblehead comes to mind)?
I’ll tell you what happens.
It ‘taint good, any of it.
But here’s the thing. We’ve all failed mind-reading 101. And it costs *nothing* to show compassion and *listen* first (something I myself failed to do anywhos. Sigh).
So what’s your takeaway?
Be kind.
Be aware of that space between provocation and reaction…
And do your very best to bridge gaps of understanding, and not torpedo them into the ground.
Enjoy!
