Ever wake up one morning and think to yourself:
“Jeepers self, if only I could give more and more and more of my own personalized data that is so sacred, even Amazon, Google and Facebook could never figure it out!!”
If so, well, I have some rather horrifyingly bad news for you.
The way government and corporations and Big Data are *already* tracking you leaves very little to chance… your favorite guilty pleasure, or your $3.12 that’s stuck in your washing machine, or your future purchase of the latest Star Trek: Discovery novel that you have no idea exists… almost guaranteed, someone *besides* you knows all the above and more.
I was reminded of this while watching “In the Age of AI (full film) | FRONTLINE” over at:
Seriously, the ways just about *everything* are tracking you these days… it’s mindboggling.
And for people to proactively *buy* and *install* devices like Alexa or Google Home or any of those Smart Home Assistants … it makes me just shake my head and look for extra strong coffee to soothe my emotions. Heck, you could simply check out:

and then decide today is not worth getting up for, and go back to bed, hoping to wake up in an era where people have finally bought a clue.
But I digress.
See, the thing about all of those nifty coolio surveillance thingees above… they all can feed into AI learning (artifical intelligence learning) that is most definitely NOT
(or at least, one can hope).
Anywhos! I was reminded of the above when I came across this article:
10 Predictions How AI Will Improve Cybersecurity In 2020
Some predictions include:
“Threat actors will increase the use of AI to analyze defense mechanisms and simulate behavioral patterns to bypass security controls, leveraging analytics to and machine learning to hack into organizations”
and
“As cybersecurity threats evolve, we will fight AI with AI.”
etc.
Such grandiose predictions – my guitar gently weeps at the sinister yet entirely predictable implications.
Speaking of cyber security, that topic could be the basis of a great blueprint as well, perhaps broken down into:
Step 1.) Ensure your hardware is protected
Step 2.) Ensure your software is protected
Step 3.) Ensure you/your family is protected

Your takeaway?
Life is, what is. Be that as it may, do your best to secure everything that is dear to you. Your future will thank you for it.
Enjoy!
