It’s been said that February is NOT the very best time one can indulge in affiliate marketing.
‘Course, many things have been said regarding affiliate marketing….
… what might be miserable for one person, might deliver untold riches to another, based upon *how* they practice the exciting art of this income-earning strategy.
Be that as it may, looking at case studies is always an interesting proposition!
And
www.99signals.com/income-report-february-2019/
delivers rather nicely indeed.
One part I enjoyed reading about was:
“It was a great honor to have Larry Kim, one of the best marketing influencers in the world and the founder of MobileMonkey, contribute an article to 99signals last month. He published a post on Facebook messenger ads which you can check out by clicking the link below:
www.99signals.com/facebook-messenger-ads/ ”
Why did I enjoy that so much?
Well, I recognized the name!
Back in January, I had written:
www.barbaraling.com/insights/%F0%9F%8C%A0-the-unbearable-lightness-of-personal-brandon/42343
which referenced Larry Kim’s other article at
www.wordstream.com/blog/ws/2019/01/08/personal-branding
A few days after that article was written, I received an email from Larry himself, thanking me for the post and asking if I would consider hyperlinking his company name?
Of course, due to the politeness of his request, I updated my article to include that.
This added an effective backlink for Larry’s company, which ultimate can contribute towards his company’s organic position within Google.
So… why is this so important a point to mention… in an article about affiliate marketing?
Well, proactive entrepreneurs will ensure they are alerted whenever their name/company shows up in other sites online (that is done by adding a Google alert from
)…
… and then ideally contact those sites, thank the person who shared the link, and then perhaps ask for an additional enhancement.
Just think if *you* had your own affiliate marketing site… where if *you* were mentioned, you could contact the mentioning website’s owner and ask the same?
I’d figure the guys at
do that rather often.
But I digress.
Back to the original post mentioned in this article…
They broke down their affiliate marketing endeavors by:
Content Creation
99signals YouTube Channel
2019 Goodreads Reading Challenge
and closed out with their February Income Report.
Really cool information!
