🌠The Fine Art of Being a Victim

🌠The Fine Art of Being a Victim

Some things in life are black or white.

The color of the sky, for example. Okay, not black and white there, but, say….

Blue or orange!

An issue might arise, you know… a friend or colleague might declare the sky is orange when it’s most definitely blue (aka, “I’m going to deny the reality I see because it’s ‘way more comfortable to pretend elsewise”).

What do you do then?

If it’s a friend of yours, you let them solve their own perception issues.

But if it’s yours (aka, you are afraid to accept the way life really *is*)…

… that’s okay. Doing so is scary beyond belief (it really is) because it involves you actually facing your fears instead of trying to brush them away.

And make no mistake about it… facing fears *honestly* requires courage.

Which you might have, on and off, as the day progresses or ends.

The key is, at the end of every day, can you tell yourself that you chose NOT to wear the description of ‘victim’ (aka, other folks have advantages I lack, ergo, I’m a failure and a victim and I will just crumble up and die)?

How you mentally reframe your current situation can mean the difference between success or failure.

The question is…. which direction will you embrace?

Enjoy!
