I should have realized.
Yesterday I decided to ask my beloved gentle children to make me some Ramen noodles.
And thus my adventures in Purgatory began!
You see, I happen to enjoy my food a wee bit spicy (ie, you plunk it on the table and it eats a hole thru said furniture).
- And my delightful kids decided to dump approximately 19 metric tonnes of chili pepper in it.
This would have put hair on a gorilla’s chest, take it from me!
WOW was it yummy! 🙂
But I digress. 🙂
Today is the last day of 2012…and as such, the LAST day to grab:
Not to mention
So ’twas the night before 2013….and here’s my successes and failures!
1.) My first attempt at branding myself as the IM Hacker….flopped.
And I did it SOOOO beautifully too! A FB group and everything!
Thing is….to start a successful group, you need to be posting CONSTANTLY. With my ankle fusion and stuff….’twasn’t a chance. So…lesson learned.
The IM Hacker…I am NOT.
However….
2.) My second attempt at branding myself as an eMail Marketer worked wondrously!
True, folks think of me also as a product creator and Pinterest guru and lately, as a motivational coach, but yep….
eMail storytelling.
That be me! 🙂
3.) I was able to create 6 internal launches in 6 weeks
This was after my hospital stay and Hurricane Sandy and such….. so I’ve proven to myself that what might get the majority of other people smooshilated, simply empowers me to do more.
VERY powerful life lesson that…one on which I will be relying heavily for 2013!
4.) I started my paid Skype mastermind group!
This is one of the areas in which I’m the MOST proud. I just WANTED a membership group but without the hassle of Wishlist etc…so I created an application, threw up a Paypal button and 4 months later, it’s rockin’ mere mortal comprehension. WOOT!
That showed me I’m NOT afraid to just freakin’ DO IT – could be successful, maybe not, but hey!
I gave it a shot. WooT PART II!
There’s more of course, but these 4 points are what stands out to me. So happy with 2012…and 2013 will only go up up up!
With that, here’s a grand wish for your New Year’s Eve – I’ll see you on the inside.
Grow strong,
Barbara Ling
