Morning!
Ever been swayed by the yummness you see at 3am, including things like:
or
or
or…
You get the idea, yes?:)
So there you are, all psyched to get up and spend spend spend when you realize…
"Jeepers Self! Those products – they be big huge freakin’ moola-chewers!"
If so, fear not, gentle readers, for I myself have often been in your shoes! And being an Internet researcher now for over 12 years…I taught myself how to find the BEST Infomercial Fitness deals. Believe it or not, it’s really simple!
And here’s how.
Step 1.) Notice both the NAME and the CREATOR of the Fitness infomercial.
You’ll be able to search on both at the following resources. I’ll use p90x as the product in question, and "Tony Horton" as the creator.
Step 2.) Go to Amazon and search on the name/creator of the Fitness infomercial.
For example, click HERE for the results for "Tony Horton" and HERE for the results of P90x.
You’ll see something that looks like:
Click on it. You’ll be able to read what OTHER people think….and while, true, you must end up making your own mind regarding the product, it will definitely help you in truly deciding if you want to fling your money away to actually test it out.
If you decide to buy it, you can buy it at the retail price OR take notice:
I’m a big believer in always searching for good deals! So you might want to consider exploring from where you can get discounts.
Next,
Step 3.) Search on eBay for your Infomercial Fitness thingee
The sad truth is….people will buy infomercial thingees on a whim and then use them as clothing hangers or coffee coasters or …. you get the idea.
So! You can search on eBay like so:
or
Tony Horton
You might be surprised at what you find.
If that doesn’t flap your earlobes, move next to:
Step 4.) Ask on Freecycle.org for your Fitness Infomercial thingee
You never know! I got my Richard Simmons workout goodies and Taebo goodies from Freecycle.org meself.
Still need ideas? Mosey on over to:
Step 5.) Ask at niche fitness infomercial forums or local forums.
There are bleeploads of niche forums (and possibly local forums too!) that either cater to your niche…or cater to a town-swap. Freecycle.org is one of the best community "WANTED/OFFER" resources, of course…but you can also search for
and hit the
as well.
Once you find a useful forum, see if there’s a Classifieds or a WANTED resource in which you can post.
What’s that? Craigslist? Oh yes! You can also:
Step 6.) Post at your local Craigslist.org Forum too!
Every Craigslist.org has a For Sale category as well as a WANTED category too. Just find the RIGHT craigslist.org site by visiting this page and selecting your area (it will be on the right hand side) and then seeing if anything strikes your fancy.
For example, here’s all the NYC ads for P90x:
Nice, eh?
So there you have it….some excellent ways not ONLY to find useful reviews on your fitness infomercial products, but ALSO how to get great deals as well.
Enjoy!
