Sometimes as I've said only 403 times before….we goof up.
And sometimes, the people to whom we goofed actually *are* willing to let it go.
Still, though, that doesn't mean you should brush the issue under the carpet faster than a moose might inhale a sirloin steak.
If you goofed, then you should man up, cupcake, and proactively go and apologize.
You lose nothing by taking ownership of your actions and indeed…I firmly believe that apologizing is the right thing to do.
Only insecure, selfish twits refuse to apologize when they're wrong. And yet, the benefits of being human (ie, admitting you're not perfect and asking for forgiveness) can go a *long* way to rebuilding bridges and reaffirming your friends' faith in humanity.
Thus today, if you hurt someone's feelings by mistake, or if you goof at work, or if you yell at your children with zero reason…..
Go and apologize.
Apologizing is *not* a weakness.
It's just the *right* thing to do.
Grow strong,
