There are times in every business that you realize…something has *got* to change.
Something powerful. Something critical.
And it’s called, changing your business to meet the needs of your family.
You see, earlier today I had a slight wakeup call about my youngest. He’s the perfect avatar for being attached to a computer for the next 34 years and if all continued as it was, he’d quickly balloon into a rather rotund individual.
So….I just signed him up to *my* gym.
He utterly adored the hour there – 30 minutes in the pool, 30 minutes on various machines, and let me tell you – my feet/legs/etc are right now delicately screaming their, well, feet off at me. Matter of fact, my girls are now massaging said feet; I figure if I can handle dancing at marketing events, keeping up with my youngest shouldn’t smoosh me *tooooo* bad.
After the gym, he was simply beaming at me and asked if we could do this every day. And of course, I agreed.
I’m positive I have a truly profound takeaway but right now, I’m falling asleep on my laptop. However, the main goodness to internalize from this is:
You can never reclaim lost time with your family.
Internet marketing is one of the few professions that let you take off whatever time you need… my career right now is a true blessing to me.
How will you grow your business in 2014 so you can do the same?
