Earlier this year, Twitter released its mobile service Vine – an app that allows your to capture and share short looking videos.
The goal, of course, is to inspire virality and creativity.
Thing is, when this was released it was woefully lacking in functionality. But the recent addition to Instagram (adding video support!) might have spurred Twitter to finally overhaul and update Vine’s benefits to its users.
Most interesting to Facebook enthusiasts, video vines can now be shared to a user’s Facebook profile. Prior to this, these videos clips could *only* be shared on Twitter. The additional visibility ensures a user’s 6 second videos get a far broader audience view. And like the recent Facebook additions, Vine users can search for hashtags and users too.
This new addition to Vine can be used by anyone to increase their overall authority online by broadening their social reach. Have a quick viral snippet about your product? Create a Vine masterpiece that excites and intrigues, and then share it to your Facebook wall (and from there, to your Facebook business page as well)…
