Google is now offering Google Glass users the opportunity to invite a friend.

We love demoing Glass to our friends. We’ve perfected our “OK Glass, take a picture faces so that the shot captures us smiling, laughing and looking chic. Well, maybe not all at the same time.
Mostly, we love sharing Glass with our friends, because adventures through Glass are more fun with others. Here’s your chance to invite one friend into the Glass Explorer Program. Complete this form and share Glass with a friend, funny demo face and all.
All Glass Explorers must:
- be a US resident
- be 18 years or older
- be able to pick up Glass in either San Francisco, New York or Los Angeles

Of course its not free – people who accept the invitation will have to shell out the same $1,500 the early Google Glass Explorers did. Still, though….Google Glass!

What if none of your friends HAVE Google Glass and can invite you?
Well, you’re kinda sorta hosed you are. But you can still better the odds that you will earn a Google Glass Explorer opportunity by doing the following.

Applications are closed now but hey. Who knows when they’ll reopen? You can sign up at this page.
2.) Participate in the Google Glass Explorers Community
This GooglePlus community is open to Glass Explorers, folks who want to *talk* with Glass Explorers or people interested in Glass in general. Join the Google Glass Explorers Community here.
3.) Track Google Glass in Social Media
You can check out:

- Twitter’s GoogleGlass Hashtag feed
- Official Twitter Account for Google Glass
- Twitter Google Glass News
Like everything in social media, however, being reactive and tracking will get you nowhere.
