Morning!
Ah, if I didn't laugh…I'd cry.
Truly. But you know, it's a good thing indeed! Because it shows that no matter what pounces upon my Inner spirit…I can rebound, regroup, and transform it into miracles.
I'm speaking, of course, of my Max Your Holiday Profits release. I'll be posting more about it today, mind you, but the point you need to take out of it is this.
- Everyone (without fail) who read it….loved it.
I was told, I should make a killing with it!
Yay!
Except…because I'm not yet tied into the big huge affiliate marketing network…torrential hordes of screaming customers did *not* beg to force their money on me.
So much for marketing hype, aye? 🙂
Ah well, these things happen! And honestly, when I saw the sales in the afternoon, I called over my kids and shared with them the entire story and told them:
"Remember in this world, being the best isn't the only thing required. You have to have others with huge reach…tell their audiences the same. Those audiences will follow the recommendations unquestioningly."
A great life lesson, eh?
Anywhos! Onto today.
Here's a passage from White Wolf, another David Gemmell book.
=============
“I saw you…kill those….werebeasts. I thought….you were the…. strongest man ever.”
“And so I am,” Druss told him. “Don’t you ever forget it.”
“Will …I… die by….these wounds?”
“I don’t know, laddie, I truly do not. I’ve seen men killed by tiny wounds, and others survive when they should not have. It’s often a mystery. One fact I do know is….you must desire to live.”
“Doesn’t….everyone?”
“Yes, of course. That desire, though, has to be focused.
Some men will scream and beg for life. They exhaust themselves…and die anyways.
Others, though wanting to live, look at their wounds and their heartbreak, and just give up.
The secret, if there’s truly any secret, is to hold to life, as if you were gripping it in your palm. You tell your soul, quietly, firmly, to hold on. To heal.
You know, that was brave of you, laddie, to jump down and help us like you did. I am proud of you. Because of you, they’re still alive.
There’s some who would say what you did was foolish.
There’s many who would tell you that it would have been best if you had simply stayed hidden and safe. They would tell you it’s better to live a long life as a coward than a short life as a hero.
They are wrong.
You see, the coward’s soul dies every day.
- Every time he runs from dangers, and leaves others to suffer in his place.
- Every time he watches an injustice and tells himself, “It has nothing to do with me.”
But every time a man stands up for what’s right, he becomes *more* than he was before.
None of us live forever, laddie. Better by far, then…to live *well*.”

Isn't that just plain glorious?
I had written up that post 2+ months ago when I was reaching out to someone. That failed dismally, mind you, but hey.
It makes for a wondrous blog post today! 🙂
You see, I have truly been blessed these past few days in my interactions.
- I met (I really met on Skype!) Kathe and Denise (they are some of my inspirations in online marketing). Woot!
- Kelvin Nikkel helped me with Skype issues and introduced me to Coby Wright who helped me get my own Skype group title working grand!
- Debbie Benstein joined my Inner Heroes Marketing group and has made me smile quite a lot (plus asked specific questions about my product launches and such).
Plus, I've spent some time with my real life friends and realize yet again how blessed I am in that way too.
Not to mention, my kids and husband have been utterly magnificent in taking care of me as well!
Thus today, tell yourself that because nobody lives forever…you're going to honor your own Inner Hero…and live *well*.
Honestly…it's the best way to be.
Grow strong,
Barbara Ling
