There IS a de-whining solution!
I’ll confess – I was and most likely am still in:
MASSIVE whine mode.
Maddening it is, truly maddening. I have learned that I possess zero control over optimalness/nonoptimalness (although I can definitely slant things in some directions when it does happen).
This means I can have superbly grand plans at 6am in the morning….
… and at 8am, energy flies out the window.
Hate it. Hate it hate it hate it but you know something?
Who cares?
It’s my life, I own it. I can either sit home and whine (which I’m kinda sorta doing now) or… take control of my Inner Hero and continue to whine!
BUT!
*While* I continue to whine, I mechanically force myself into *action*.
That was my swimming today. I noticed the lifeguard keeping an eye on me because my gosh, the aqua-jogging was super hard today…. and my facial expressions must have looked like someone battling an overweight alligator underwater.
Here was me before it happened:

“I can do this. No, I WILL do this.”
But again…
Who cares? It’s my life and if grimacing helps me actually complete my goals…
More power to me!
To give details – hold your arm against a door jamb.
Then try to push out the door.
That’s what it feels like when you have a fused ankle – you know *have* to move your leg/etc but when because you’re carrying more hardware than Home Depot in your body… you simply *cannot*. You can move other parts of your leg…
… but that frozen joint aint unfreezin’ and there’s nothing you can do about it.
But again….
Who cares?
You deal with the cards life hands you.
Where was I going in this thread? I know I had a point!
Ah yes, the whining.
Folks, sometimes all the positiveness you tell yourself simply cannot fix how you’re currently feeling.
And whining about it to yourself or wherever….
… that’s okay. It helps you deal.
But *while* you’re whining… try to create some good out of it!
Force yourself into physical action.
If you can’t do that, share motivational posts to lift up the spirits of others.
If you can’t do that, make a quick video on your phone that shares your thoughts and issues. When you’re feeling better, boom, you have your content ready to go!
In other words….
Life happens.
It’s how you choose to deal with it that shows you what your true character is.
Carry on.
