Hey there,
Well! I am no longer a video marketing virgin! Yay!
After being told that my squeeze page needs a video and some thing dynamic to compel people to sign up, I tried my hand at creating a powerpoint with the techniques that used to be most popular in….ahem….NOT this century. 🙂 A kind note to that effect had me completely revisiting the idea…and today, I completely revamped it into something so incredibly magnificent I still cannot believe I was able to rise to the challenge.
The difficulties that attacked me were many and numerous!! First, I was able to create my audio files but whenever I exported them to the mp3 format, it sounded like I had mutated into 38 chipmunks who sang soprano. I researched online for the solution, heck, for any solution….and none of them worked!
Turning on a dime was critical!
So….instead of trying to bash the square peg into the round hole, I instead looked at my available options…and then opened movie maker, added the audio, turned that into a video, and then exported that into an mp3. Success!
Later on, of course, I was able to add the power point and synchronize all of the voice and images. Wow! "Exhausting" didn’t describe the efforts…I am sooo completely fried right now, I can hardly type this post.
And to add even more excitement, during the day the kids wanted to play! It made for a great break, and thus Camp Ling was yet again a nice calm enjoyable day. 🙂
There’s a major storm raging about my town now, so I opted to keep the kids home from Aikido (wah!) and have them delve instead into DDR. And me…welll….tomorrow is another day!
And that was me Wednesday,
Barbara Ling
