🌠Life is more than marketing… it’s also…. this?

A Blast from the (long ago) Past:

I was in gung-ho sales copy writing mode. Kids 3 and 4 came by, we chatted about moose blessings (The Kingly Moose was kissing Kid3’s nose), and then about the soup I had made as tonight’s dinner.

This was 1.3 hours or so ago.

It ended up that we all sat at the table and talked about anything and everything – Star Trek, college, food plans, Pacific Rim, dealing with individual family member quirks and such.

That was 1.3 hours I could have decided to finishing up my sales page … and you know something?

Spending that time with some of my family… well, it was priceless.

And given the fact its now close to a nice normal 4am in the year 2023, methinks my creative juices are just plain dried up from exhaustion.

So ’tis time to sleep… and I’ll retackle everything tomorrow.

Your takeaway? Nobody ever lamented on their deathbed, “Jeepe
rs! If only I had spent more time at the office or making money or …”

Know what I mean?

Work will virtually always be there…

…. being able to spend time with your family gets more and more limited as time goes on.

Treasure every day you wake up above ground. And keep things in perspective.

Love those who deserve you and love you back; take a moment to surprise them out of the blue and tell them:

“You make my life shine… I am filled with gratitude that I am your mom/dad/sibling/cousin/friend/moose wrangler/etc.”

Guaranteed… it will brighten up their lives.
