Alas, such a magnificent Object of Glory (otherwise known as an OoG) simply does NOT exist.
However, the art of Reputation Manglement does!
has a nifty overivew on just *how* to deal with negative reviews on Amazon, eBay, Google, and Social Media. Some of the information shared includes:
“…How you manage your reviews really impacts how well you perform in Search. One analysis estimates that the quality of your native reviews is the number two competitive difference maker when it comes to search rankings, second only to the quality of your inbound links.
Review signals make up 15% of Google’s ranking algorithm so managing your Google reviews is clearly important if you want to get to the top of Search and stay there….”

And mastering Reputation Management can be a most excellent subject for a 1 2 3 cheatsheet as well. Consider these steps:
Step 1.) Remove your ego
Step 2.) First acknowledge the emotion from the negative review
Step 3.) Learn how to respond appropriately and read up on reputation management as a whole

Let’s see, where to begin?
Ever get kicked in the teeth by life?
It is NOT fun.
But no matter how much you might wish stuff had turned out differently…
It didn’t.
So there’s zero use to pretending that life didn’t just leave you for dead…
You *have* to rebound.
That was me yesterday.
The good news is rebounding is going well!
And honestly, no bad news, because every day above ground is one more day you can change the future.
‘course, it wouldn’t be life in general unless there was great big bunches of chest-thumping online you know.
Which led me to write… this.

Well, life certainly does have a way of teaching you what’s important and what is not.
And you know what’s NOT important?
Posturing on Facebook…
Twitter…
Basically doing ANYTHING that does NOT:
1.) Increase your happiness
2.) Make you money
3.) See #1
Really, that’s what it’s all about.
When you’re on your deathbed, I highly doubt you’re going to sing to the heavens, oooo I really showed that tweeblehead who’s boss on social media!!!!!
The mind boggles.
You know what IS important?
The people you love.
Your family.
Your business.
Your passion for whatever you desire to see in the future.
You know what does NOT help you achieve the above important thingees?
* Thumping your chest on social media (although, if that does help polarize your audience, I suppose it is an important aspect to implement).
* Giving yourself permission to be a tweeblehead by saying, well, she/he/it/they/them made me feel xyz/abc/def so I HAD to react like I did!!!
Newsflash.
==> Nobody *makes* you feel xyz. <==
and also:
==> Nobody *makes* you *do* abc. <==
You own your own behavior.
See, there is that beautiful space between provocation and *your* reaction.
And it’s within said gorgeous space (true, it might be only 3 nanoseconds) that you choose *how* you react.
The key (and stay with me here, this is important) is learning how to *train* yourself NOT to instantly knee-jerk with pure emotion.
It’s learning to recognize what triggers you and giving yourself permission to burn *new* neural pathways in your brain…
… that allows you to react far more mindfully than before.
True, it can take days/weeks/months/years to teach yourself the above.
It is what it is.
Your takeaway?
Every time you are tempted to, well, basically do anything online…
Ask yourself.
How will the action you are contemplating:
* Build your business?
* Contribute towards your future goals?
* Add to your happiness?
And *then* decide how you truly want to react.

Don’t waste your life on people who do not deserve you.
A very powerful lesson indeed.

Sunday was oh so magnificent… It was the kind of day that just was, well, perfect, for all the silly reasons.

I got to the pool!

And then I had a great lunch with the husband, where we talked about different evergreen niches (you know the MMO niches is only one of them and yep – while its the easiest of niches to get into, there ARE niches like:
- Weight Loss
- Fitness
- Self Confidence
- Skincare
etc.et.cetc.
So who knows… perhaps I’ll invigorate that again!
And! Had some really powerful revelations regarding family, husband, kids, etc…
My husband (the Vulcan) who is one of the most brilliant peoples on the face of this planet, cannot handle compliments.
Thing is, I *adore* telling him how proud I am of him.
He, being a Vulcan, cannot handle compliments.
So we’ve compromised on “We’ll just stick together because that’s the most logical option.”

Continuing to work quietly on bedrest, and it’s all good.
Tomorrow I’ll probably share a vent that has been bothering me bigtime…..
