Good morning!
It’s Sunday morning and what a weekend. Lots to share:
First, yesterday morning Honorable Daughter II painted
me up like so.
In the middle of painting my chest blue, Honorable Son II
called. He had put the TwitterBudgie into a carrying cage,
brought the cage over to show his friend, went outside and…
You can guess what happened next. Yep. He gave into
his desire to take the Twitter Budgie out of the cage and yep….
said TB flew off into the wild blue yonder. 🙁
Very difficult lesson for him to learn (as I had repeatedly
emphasized to him, you must NEVER let the birdie out
of the cage when outside). He shared with me exactly
how it happened and admitted his fault. So we’ll see
how the next few days go; it’s a painful yet necessary
lesson that giving into urges sometimes can be a
Really Bad Thing indeed.
After that call was done, I went with my kids to the
convention (yay!). After that day was done, my ankles
seceded from my body (not yay!) which was very
non-good indeed. But hey, it’s life and life, as I’ve
been finding…it happens.
