Sunday was oh so magnificent… It was the kind of day that just was, well, perfect, for all the silly reasons.

And then I had a great lunch with the husband, where we talked about different evergreen niches (you know the MMO niches is only one of them and yep – while its the easiest of niches to get into, there ARE niches like:
- Weight Loss
- Fitness
- Self Confidence
- Skincare
etc.et.cetc.
So who knows… perhaps I’ll invigorate that again!
And! Had some really powerful revelations regarding family, husband, kids, etc…
My husband (the Vulcan) who is one of the most brilliant peoples on the face of this planet, cannot handle compliments.
Thing is, I *adore* telling him how proud I am of him.
He, being a Vulcan, cannot handle compliments.
So we’ve compromised on “We’ll just stick together because that’s the most logical option.”

And! I had Mo the Amazing Mowing PiggyMoose out for awhile:
Continuing to work quietly on bedrest, and it’s all good.
Tomorrow I’ll probably share a vent that has been bothering me bigtime…..

Ever find yourself with virtually zero energy after a most magnificent day indeed and then get the message that one of your client’s sites….
… is redirecting to a “placeholder” site that has other names suggested?
If not, let me assure you such an event is guaranteed to galvanize you into panicked overdrive!
And then… ever discover that the issue happened because of your own carelessness?
That happened to me yesterday… so here’s what I posted.

You know, if there’s one thing I hate, it’s careless mistakes.
In my past, I was known for careless mistakes that were so injut-totic in their scope… they were quite breath-taking to witness indeed.
Now, over the past decade, I’ve become ‘way more mindful when dealing with my responsibilities.
However, I just learned today that I made the most beginners of mistakes….
I have several domain names that begin with the same 2 letters, let’s say:
tr
Last week, I was requested to update one ‘tr’ domain DNS settings. Apparently, I had updated the *second* tr domain instead…
… and that was noticed today.
I tried logging into my registrar only to find such a thing was impossible. Perhaps a browser issue? It turns out, I was to uncover previous URLS that had accessed the system…. and got into said registrar.
And upon checking the DNS… that’s why I discovered my careless mistake.
I apologized deeply to the client and took total ownership. If I goof, I admit it.
Things should be fine tomorrow when the DNS propagates, but your takeaway?
Be mindful in your work.
It can SO save your coffeecup from disaster.
Speaking of which… coffee?

In other words…
If you hose up to the extent that the Home Depot Gardening Department would admire the amount of hoses that you could conjure up (measured in HPS, otherwise known as Hoses Per Second – I think I managed to reach 17 Hoses per second as I was debugging the whole issue)…
Take ownership of your mistake.

Saturday was a nice quiet working day.
There’s a discussion going on with my marketing peers…
… and what I find totally bizarre is how some folks already have their Halloween costume done – Pot, Kettle, Black.
Sigh.
Like, how difficult is it to share goodness online?
To congratulate others who show success?
To feel pride in what others accomplish so you can cheer them on?
It’s rather sad, you know.
So I have my usual talk with the husband about such things, and he responded,
“Human nature is just that. Focus on your little marketing bubble and do yourself proud instead.”
Wise man is the husband.
And that title, I will be brave?
It comes from one of my fav She-Ra (rebooted) episodes.
I will admit – some of the cartoons from nowadays are so GOOD! Here’s the transcript for the last episode of Season 3:
“Do you want to know a secret? I am a coward. What? No.
I’ve always been the queen who stays behind.
