Today’s post will be brief and pithy indeed, as I’ll be consumed by finishing up my free career/job seeker’s library that I’ll soon be releasing!
Long long days….hardly any sleep….’tis suffering for one’s art, I tell you!
And speaking of such, take a gander at the image of this post. It’s from Nicky’s SITIN (stuff I think is nifty) and was sent to me for free this past Sunday. To wit:
…It’s Sunday! And that means it’s time for the weekly installment of SUNDAY’S PICTURE THIS, a random assortment of SITIN (Stuff I Think Is Nifty). The topics are going to be wide-ranging because I think a lot of stuff is nifty.
I don’t know if I should keep shooting or duck! Certainly seems like I’ve done something to annoy him. And all I was doing was standing there, for about 20 minutes, waiting and waiting for him to move. He almost got by me too.
When you’re waiting for a shot and it’s a moving bird you’re after you don’t want your camera fixed to a tripod. Because once they start to move – they’re gone – so you need to have the camera to your eye and ready. Doing that with a big telephoto lens attached can get pretty darn tiring.
Hey, you have to suffer for your art, right?….
Now, I don’t know about you, but that image is one huge WOWSA! Definitely sign up for the free Daily Dose like I did – the goodies share are just not to be believed.
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling
ps – speaking about owls, have you seen:
