Hey all,
I goofed. And I want to apologize.
One of the things I advocate in Income Fitness is to publicize your tweets on as many social profiles as possible. I included WordPress.com in this list, as I’ve been happily using Ping.FM now for months to do this without any problem.
Well, yesterday an alert reader notified me that my WordPress.com blog was suspended. Support is closed today, so I’ll be contacting them tomorrow to see WHY it was suspended.
I read over the Terms of Service this morning again, and the only thing I could find that might be applicable is:
the Content is not spam, is not machine- or randomly-generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);
Now….I never would consider tweets to be unwanted commercial content (lots of my tweets go to useful links online)…but WordPress.com might view that differently.
So we’ll see.
I stlil do recommend you set up your personal brand on WordPress.com , mind you…but do NOT (as in, DON’T) put ONLY your tweets as the sole content.
Anywhos, I wanted to apologize to the community; apparently I screwed up. Lesson learned and I hope you learn from my experiences!
I sure will.
Best wishes,
Barbara Ling
