3 Easy Tips For Sexy on the Inside and Out

And how did your weekend treat you?  Me, well…it was very character-building – wrote out some awesome online-business techniques, tackled some nifty search engine ideas that worked beautifully (so I’m really surprised nobody else is doing them), dove into some great martial arts, spent time with the family…..and I’m ready to start the week!

Today’s topic of the day deals with style, grace, and downright sexiness, especially for folks who are past their 20s and 30s yet choose NOT to consider themselves old.

As I might have mentioned 7,392 a few times , during the past 21-odd months, I’ve lost 50+ pounds.  And while my double chins are definitely vaporized, I still possess that lovely "pooch" of loose skin on my belly that reminds me, it will take probably another year for that to tighten up too.

Oh well, loose belly skin is definitely a worthwhile tradeoff for my superbly improved health!!   But I have discovered one thing – losing weight is the first step; getting toned and into shape is the next, and then (get this!) smashing head-on into reality is the final third.

What do I mean by that, I hear you ask?

Well!  If you’ve put your body thru 4 decades of pounding, you’re probably aware…your joints ain’t as supple as they could be….matter of fact, chances are, there’s days they’re less flexible than the Tower of Pisa!   I used to think, that’s life, go deal with it….but I’m pleased to announce that even if you could double as a dancing water buffalo tip-toeing on yogurt wrt grace and style, there IS hope.  🙂  

Remember, sexiness comes not just from how you look on the outside (In my college days, I dated visually drop-dead yummy guys whose technique consisted of them allowing me to worship them…and your typical nerd-types who would put Casanova to shame)….but also how you FEEL on the inside.

NOTE!Idea 1.)  Stretch those muscles!  

Your joints will move better if your muscles stretch better.  Thus, every day I try to stretch out my legs and back and have even crafted up a rope that I can hang from my pullup bar; I can hold onto that and gradually descend into a full split 1 inch off the floor (and yes, that took months to achieve).  Stretching really gives your muscles a wonderful treat to relax and gain flexibility.

NOTE!Idea 2.)  Swivel those hips!

You’ve seen those Elvis clips of the dear boy swiveling his hips, right?  Would you believe, all during my earlier years I never learned to do that myself?

But!  Having flexible hips is a great benefit indeed (especially in martial arts when you throw round house kicks and the like)!  So I puttered about and found Crunch Cardio Go Go, which teaches hip swiveling and much much (MUCH!) more like so.

NOTE!Idea 3.)  Embrace your tactile senses

Now, I’m a somewhat touchy-feely kind of person.  It comes from my half of the family; I’m generally very comfortable with friends/family hugging and touching and the like.  ‘course, my eldest child and I now have expanded that to include severely agonizing sparring attacks when the other is not paying  attention (think of that bulter in Peter Seller’s The Pink Panther who would always try to pounce un-noticed:

….but I digress.  🙂  )

Anywhos!  You can use your sense of touch to heal your friends, comfort your family, arouse your lover, fix your own aching muscles (that’s called acupressure, and works beautifully if I do say so myself) and other nifty things! 

You can touch your loved one with your fingers, a feather, silk, an ice cube (had to honor my college days and throw that in, of course  🙂  )   …… heck, just about anything that evokes a unique sensation on the skin.  And let me tell you…there’s lots of those opportunities just, ahem, lying around!  🙂

So many people these days think ‘sexy’ has to center upon one’s outer packaging.  I completely disagree with that!! 

‘Sexy’ comes from within.  The choice to be sexy….is yours.   Nobody elses!
