Did you know that you can bravely venture BACK in TIME in the Internet?
Yes indeed, it’s true! For example, you’ve probably heard of Cheaper by the Dozen, right? You know, the book about the Gilbreth family who had 12 children back around at the turn of the century? The parents were Frank Gilberthand Lillian Mollar Gilbreth; they’re know as the Father and Mother of Motion Study.
Heck, check out one of their films here!
Do you know from where I found this great bit of history (dating from the early 1900s)?
Yep…it’s at the Internet Archives over at www.archive.org .

The WayBack Machine!
The Way Back machine lets you spy on the way websites USED to be….long long (okay, a few years up to 13 years) ago.
For example, check out what MY site looked like in 1998!
Isn’t that the epitomy of cool? Not the site, mind you..but the fact you can actually what my site looked like over 10 years ago?
Do you realize what this means as well?
It means that you can see how just about ANY site evolved online!
Click HERE for my Virtual Coach site from 11 years ago as well.
See what I mean?
You’ll love the way Google started….Click HERE to see!
And eBay…Click HERE to see!
This is a GREAT way to see just how the look and feel of sites have evolved over the past 10 years…and also to track how the marketing has changed as well! You’ll see that graphics have become bigger and shinier, text generally nowadays does NOT blink and other sundry goodies too.
What’s the most interesting site YOU’VE see? I’d love to hear about it below!
Enjoy,
Barbara
