Ticking Time Bomb

Morning!

I really have to get back into updating this blog every day.  Part of my Income Fitness regime is using both my personal domain name blog and my tag name blog and all the tools available via social networking….yielding to despair kinda sorta smooshes up your results mega bigtime.  But hey, these things happen!

Let’s get business out of the way.  I’m earlobe deep in finishing said book, Income Fitness!  Got some great ideas last week about completely reorganizing the content..and of course, I couldn’t let such inspiration go away.  🙂    And!  Melinda from WAHM Biz Builder and Alex from HowToSpoter (plus ideally, some other folk too!) have agreed to provide some extra special foreword content…I’m quite stoked about that.

Family-wise, I’ve come to realize that my kids are vaulting leagues ahead of me in learning social networking and the like (heck, even my 7 year old can make YouTube videos) but their interest in making money online….it’s just not happening.  Given the fact I’ve raised them to NOT want trends and fashions, they really have no use for money right now anyways.  Go figure!

So….at least their name domains are up and running and their knowledge of the Internet is superior to their peers.  I’m happy.  🙂

Personal-wise, that’s the ticking time bomb!  I’ve come to realize that it’s only a matter of time before my ankle goes boom.  Talk about character-building!  The good news is I found the top surgeon for ankle problems, the bad news is…he’s out of my network.  It will be $450 just for the initial consultation which will happen next month!

This is a great incentive, let me tell you, to get my book done.  🙂

I’m quite in hopes I will not have to get an external fixator like this lovely device to the right.  I have this wonderful vision of simply having my ankle fixed and the foot wrapped up for 3 months while it heals.  But we’ll see.

Had a fun time at adult karate yesterday.  I had planned on sitting the class out but when I showed up, the 10th degree Shihan was teaching it!  Now, to be taught by this guy…it’s like being taught social marketing by Seth Godin.  Awesome beyond belief!  I really hope he continues to teach that class – lots of good street-smart things were practiced.

Oh!  And I’m starting to teach the kids how to walk the mooses.  I figure that within a few months, I’ll have my ankle surgerized….but the moosies still need tender loving walkies too!  Honorable Daughter 1 walks Moose Major and Honorable Daughter 2 walks Moose Minor.  Both of them are learning the ropes very well.
