Morning all,
Today school starts! Can you imagine anything else so joyful (except perhaps, doing 400 pushups yesterday)? 🙂
But I digress.
Today’s thought of the day is most relevant to bloggers and entrepreneurs online alike, and of course, hails from Nicky 510. And it’s this:
<ahem>
…Isn’t it interesting that the same people who laugh at science fiction listen to weather forecasts and economists?

Interesting observation really. It gets to the heart of how we draw the line between reality and fantasy. Many a parent has asked "Why are you reading that trash?" when considering their son or daughter as they devoured the contents of a luridly jacketed science fiction book. In reality, those covers had little to do with the story and a lot to do with attracting an audience. The stories themselves were aimed at a higher level question. Good science fiction always springs from "what if?" What if men could travel though time? What would that mean? Or perhaps a limitless source of power is discovered that costs nothing. How would society change in the face of such a thing? ….MORE…
Did you catch that?

Bingo! How often have you heard about "Must write compelling headlines" and "Develop your own unique blogging voice!" and the other 9281 posts along that nature?
Hmmmm?
It’s neat to see that’s been true since the dawn of time…..
Enjoy,
