I’m utterly thrilled that my site ranks in the top 10 (#3 from where I’m sitting) for the term
I had planned for this 10 days ago, back when I conceived of my April Fools Joke, TwitterBudgie! Being a wee bit familiar with SEO, I researched about and figured that it would only take me a week to rank for those keywords; my guess was quite on target!
TwitterBudgie is just about done and is a salute to Twitter, my budgies, and quite a unique sense of humor. 🙂 Following the guide by Patrick of Blogstorm, I made certain to include:
- Unique Site
- Quotes
- Images
- Support Group
- FAQ
- Get Started
and added my own – the Official TwitterBudgie WordPress plugin. When activated, it randomly displays a 1 of over 125 Twitter-related links in the WordPress admin (built off of the Hello Dolly plugin by PhotoMatt).
I’ll be officially launching it sometime this morning at my Ask Owlbert site.
Should be a fun day! And for relaxation, I have BJJ, Advanced Karate, Kendo and adult sparring – methinks I’ve earned the break. 🙂
