Got to the gym (woohoo!) and also did half an hour of biking at home.
Oh, and the hellfire?
Let’s just say that every now and then, I get into some convos with one or 2 or 32 of my kids…
… and am seized by an insane desire to rain down hellfire and brimstone because of miscommunications.
As you might imagine, such actions are Not Wise At All.
So I explained that it was time to disengage for a bit and let all parties think about what’s really going on. Some time afterwards, the conversation was resumed, and as we had all cooled down….
’twas much much MUCH better indeed.

Ah yes, it’s Wednesday!
Oh did I really drop the coffeecups today.
Yesterday was SUCH a great experience of working when awake and sleeping when not that I tried to reproduce it today!
You can guess how that went.
Which is probably why I’m awake now at 1:15am or so.
Must.Get.Stuff.Done.
ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
SO INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Anywhos, didn’t get to the gym but I did get in 2 30 minute biking sessions downstairs so…
Yay. Some exercise really WAS done.
And there was much rejoicing. 🙂
I’m in a pretty snarky mood right now, I will admit.
The husband and I are dealing with some character-building folk…
… and online, I yet again saw how needlessly cruel and crummy people are to those who are in need.
Despicable, actually.
So I wrote:
“Whoever sent you such a message is a coward and a f*ckface.
Plain and simple.
Reframe their message like so:
“I’m seriously lacking in self-confidence and compassion and about 3452 other human characteristics that even single-cell shower mold can offer, so instead of fixing *me* I’ll just go ragging on someone who is already suffering.
Then I can feel superior!”
Or, think of them as human cockroaches. You wouldn’t care what a cockroach thinks of you, right?
Same thing with jerks like that.
Do NOT give them rent-free space in your mind.
Feel pity that their own lives are so pathetic they resort to hurting others to feel good.
In other words, f*ck ’em. You don’t need that kind of garbage in your life.
You have shown an incredible style and grace under pressure and you *will* get thru this.
And when you’ve regained your balance and returned back to conquering your niche, you will remember whichever dickless wonder (or vagless, if female) it was who chose cruelty instead of compassion.
This too shall pass. And you will overcome it all.
Never fear. The Kingly Moose commands it!
