Next, yesterday was as always… character-building.
The husband and I got to the pool today – yay!
As you can tell, the excitement was rampant indeed. 🙂
But anywhos, the husband and I had a good convo about yesterday’s disagreement and we were definitely able to see each other’s side about it (yay for communication!).
And regarding communications, my youngest is now home (took the train) and I also reached out to others and re-started communications because:
“Always be willing to drop the ego when you see someone hurting, and reach out. It’s one of the greatest gifts you can share”
It’s so powerfully true.
And! One of my fav Twitch players (who cosplays as Darth Maul) – well, the actual actor who plays Darth Maul showed up on his twitch stream! I will say, Darth Caul is simply stellar in his portrayal – I’ll include the exchange below.

Next, yesterday was as always… character-building.
However, it did end up on a positive note.
Basically, let’s just say the husband and I had a slight disagreement.
We did our usual disengagement (ie, we both realized we were not communicating effectively) and then later on addressed the issue completely.
During the 8 hours between that time, mind you, I got myself to the pool, to finishing up work at home and other thingees and that was positive indeed. My gosh, is it the weekend yet?

If you find yourself NOT communicating effectively, park it until you are able to do so.
A very powerful lesson indeed.
