Yesterday was… weird. To wit:
“Do you remember the scene in the book Bambi where the old stag told him, he had to keep walking no matter what (this was after Bambi was shot)?
Yep – that’s how my legs are feeling today. Been proactively forcing myself to do mild karate kicks, one after another, every 45 minutes or so…. it appears to help the muscles de-rigidize.
Not really enjoying this particular stage of my journey. But hey, it could always be worse.

Today I will be rescuing 2 therapy piggyMooses!
These piggyMooses were therapy pets for special needs classes…. but those classes ended, and there was a chance the PMs would be sent to a shelter…
and….
NO!
I HATE THAT! I mean – these piggyMooses did their time. They *gave* to society. Why on earth should they end their days at an animal shelter??
I mean, look at them!
No toys…
No hideys…..
Not acceptable!
So yep – I’ll be driving about 200 miles today to ensure they are taken care of. First I drive 40 miles south……
… and then I drive (from there) 90 miles north….
… and then I return home (from there) 50 miles back.
Okay, 170 miles. Wheee!
See, I’ll be bringing these therapy piggies to the Ultimate PiggyMoose Warrior…
… she has a son with CP…
…I know her handicap-equipped minivan was damaged …
… and just heard that last night, her son’s wheelchair broke down. 🙁
