Where was I? Ah yes, Friday!
5 hours? of sleep? A comedy of errors. But in a nutshell:
A few days ago, my youngest’ therapy hamster jumped out of a temporary cage while the other was being cleaned… we couldn’t find him. 🙁 So yesterday, we got 2 sunfire hamsters – they were in the store for over a month (probably because they look like they have 2 bulbous pomegranate seeds as eyes) and that kicked my youngest’s rescue instincts into full gear.
Brought them home, they’re adorable and at 10pm at night….
… the original therapy hamster returned! Very happy homecoming.
Very little sleep for me. But its all good (except for the fact my leg is still degrading and walking is lousy. Wah).

I think I have finally recovered from the past weekend’s adventures.
At times, I really miss NOT being a weeee bit younger and bouncing right back!!
Took my youngest out yesterday to stock up on ACK (America’s Choice Sparking Water) – our local KMart is going out of business (!) so we made a supply run. Had a great Mom/Son time as well…. talked about the kid’s 6 week past adventure, what was learned the most, etc.etc.etc.
Turns out, it was very tough at times for the kid… but the long-term benefits, I think, will be grand.
Elsewhere in Lingland, we got Tilt Brush for the VR room – it’s this thingee:

Good news is, I think I have recovered from the weekend adventures. Yay! I did that by basically staying in bed all day and working from there.
