Where was I?
Ah yes, Friday!
Along with arm, left ankle decided to fall off as well. Wheee!
However, while yesterday was a total wash, workwise, it was grand for my kid. Took him to the beach but the Starbucks that was supposed to be there…
Wasn’t!
And the Jersey Shore doesn’t really have great wifi either. 🙁
Hunted/gathered some chinese food afterwards and basically took it very easy.
And! The miceyMoose is still alive. She’s very tough it appears… I hope she continues to improve!
I apologize for my lack of perkiness right now …. hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I?
Ah yes, Thursday!
I really would appreciate it if my arm would considering staying attached to my body. In other words, miserable night. I see the doctor next week on my birdieDay, so hopefully I can get an idea of the next step.
And! My son’s poor little miceyMoose is still hanging in there. Drove an hour yesterday to pick up anti-parasite meds at our local tractor supply shop – Amazon didn’t have any PRIME versions of it, and I’m at my wits end in fixing her. I checked her this morning and she’s still alive and eating the steel cut oats (in case she was reacting to a food allergy, I changed her feed).
Today I promised my other son that I would take him to the beach. Packed up my laptop so I can work (unless I decide to sleep) so will scout out a nice Starbucks while he enjoys himself.
I apologize for my lack of perkiness right now …. hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Elsewhere in Lingland, one of my youngest’ pet mice that I’m taking care of seems to have contracted a skin disease or something… we had thought she was attacked by her cagemates so I separated her and tore apart Google looking for ideas. I found:
- Using olive oil to suffocate parasites on her skin
- Dabbing children’s benedryl in case its an allergy
- Using Ivermectin on the back of her neck
Half her body is rubbed raw 🙁 so I’m hoping this helps. I also changed her bedding and food (in case of food allergies too).
This MiceyMoose was one of the original 4 feeder mice my son saved from being eaten by a snake. Will keep you posted! Her name is ‘Chomp’.
And! Today is my 24th year anniversary with my husband.
It’s been wonderful, challenging, courageous, magnificent…
And I wouldn’t change it for the world. 🙂
