Ever been told by other marketers you’re doing your business wrong… and instead should gratefully listen to them for they have been blessed by The Only Way To Do Business Successfully! (otherwise known as TOWTDBS!)
My take?
==> Never ever <== be afraid to sing your own song and blaze your own path to your own personal greatness.
Never.
EVER!
During my own illustrious career, I’ve been told:
* Never promote anything you haven’t implemented yourself! (Ho, ho and a haha. These days I’m lucky to implement coffee successfully).
* Stop talking about your health issues, you’ll never get people buying your coaching. They don’t want to hear about your problems, they want to see how they can earn money themselves. (I’ve had many people PM me to thank me for being so transparent – they take away, if Barb can do it, so can I!).
* You can never break 5 figures on a cheatsheet launch. (My Pokemon goodie did around 24K, if I remember…. and the FE was a $3.77 cheatsheet).
* Never offer bright shiny objects to your list. Only share value! (People will finally start being proactive when THEY are ready… but in the meanwhile, they’ll buy BSOs because buying makes them *feel* good).
* Never promote anything that you find to be irrelevant! (NEWS FLASH: You are NOT your list. Something that leaves you frozener than a parent who has listened to “Let it GO!” 745674 times… can still be the mooses’ meow to someone else! Again: You are NOT your list!)
Besides that, I’ve also witnessed the age old sadistic pleasure (!) of seeing people in our communities down and out trash one another.
So stupid that is.
So incredibly stupid, infantile and less productive than grinding your own coffee with a mammoth toenail.
I combat that by living in my own happy little marketing bubble… a magical place it is!
A place where tweebleheads cannot penetrate.
A place where the most difficult challenge for me is, how many products to add to a funnel? Is 876 enough?

Be true to yourself. If something intrigues you, explore it! Ignore the naysayers who want to pull you down to their sorry levels.
Give yourself permission to shine as only *you* can.

That was bad enough yesterday but today until the end of the weekend, we’re talking temps below 0 degrees F.
NOT good. Even for the mooses who are getting older and older.
Still though, hopefully the driveway has been cleared and ideally, the pool can be achieved.
