Don’t forget yesterdays…..
Where was I?
Ah yes, Thursday!
But first:
Ever craft something so incredibly amazing….
… it takes your breath away that were so astonishingly brilliant?
Ever see that crash before your very eyes?
Yep.
Happened to me yesterday.
Can’t really go into details but here’s a recap.
There are several ways to get what you want.
The *best* way is to make it seem like it’s the other person’s idea.
Well, okay, the best way is to be Thor, God of Thunder, and smite anyone who dares not to follow your ideas….
But even so.
Assuming Thor (and/or Loki) are not available to do your biddings (and while you really like Dr. Banner, you might not have the courage to gently instruct the Hulk on how to behave)…..
When things go up the proverbial paddle without a creek, you might be seized, like I was, to say, oh tweeblehead it all – I’m going to sort out my youngest’s collection of 180 Webkinz in nice rows of 10 each to make selling them much more attractive!
Yes, I did do that. Took my mine off of things (long story) until I went into his room to feed the various/sundry pets and discovered not 2 Beaks of Doom….
But 3.
Somehow, a sparrow managed to evade the Mooses when I let them in, and happily take up residence behind the hamster food.
How did I realize THAT?
Hamster food bags generally don’t chirp.
But I digress once again!
Sparrow is back outside, and I’m left in the dust, considering plan 2.
Which I’ve actually already done.
So what’s the whole point about this post, besides the God of Thunder?
Life sometimes doesn’t happen the way you expect.
And when you’re so high on being so smart and crafting the ultimate solution which ends up yanking on a cloak of invisibility and disappearing into the sunset….
Give yourself time to get pissed off.
Sort out your children’s items (and if you really want fun, cover them with multicolored silly string! No, I did NOT do that but oooooo so tempting).
And then return to the issue at hand and make it happen.
Your takeaway?
The future is always in motion. Give yourself time to tackle it at the *right* time and in the meanwhlie….
Resist “Hulk smash!”

It’s Thursday!
At 4am!
And I was up! Until 1am!
But seriously, it was so worthwhile.
Wanna know why?
Because I was *there* for my friends*.
Well, there for them until 12am, mind you.
Couldn’t sleep until 1am.
And yep, up now at 4am.
Definitely nap time later.
Your takeaway?
Even if it causes you tough times… if you CAN be there… do so.

Ever feel like you’d prefer memorizing pi to several thousand digits….
…. compared to getting up in the morning and diligently working on your business?
Or even perhaps…. you might wake up one day and realize….
You’re, well…. you’re *scared.*
You don’t now what your next step should be!
You find yourself mired in analysis/paralysis mode… and you feel that no matter WHAT next step you consider….
.. You simply can’t muster up the positive mindset and get up and go to make things happen (and to heck with happening at a blinding speed…. we’re talking happening even a wee bit slower than a Galapagos tortoise sprint)!
Well, what do you do THEN?
For businesses, well, that’s one thing.
And that’s something that deserves an entire chapter devoted to it.
But for now, if you can’t get your *business* up and moving, focus instead on your customers/colleagues *in* your niche (and ideally, can see you on FB, Twitter, LinkedIn etc)……
… and plant money seeds.
‘Course, that might make you ask:
“Jeepers self, what ARE money seeds?”
Money seeds (in this case) is the intangible action of letting customers in your industry know about you… and then encouraging those seeds to sprout and seeing customers take much more notice and interest *in* you.
So how do you do THAT?
Simple!
You imagine removing the hard cold desire of making money from these future customers… and focus on their *humanity* instead.
You share funny memes, inspirational posts, etc….
Those kinds of thing that are generally filed under a person’s “humanity”
See, as the years go by, people probably really won’t remember the vast majority of stuff you tell them.
BUT… they’ll always remember how you made them *feel*
So when you make people laugh, or cause them to crack the barest of smiles….
You’ll have done something a huge chunk of your competition never does!
You will have reached their humanity.
And such memories created…. well, they have a tendency to last long.
Your takeaway?
Even if you feel like roasted toenails doused in Siracha sauce, you can still make others feel great and remember you as that *friend* who made them smile when they least expected it.
And THAT… well, that’s a very good thing indeed….
Not to mention long-lasting to boot.
