Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!
‘Twas a day of much gratitude!
First, had a great husband breakfast date:
It set the tone for a very relaxing day (hardly any work was accomplished alas BUT…. much resting!).
The Beak of Doom rested:
Yep, that’s my bedroom. The BoD likes that particular spot these days.
In the evening, I wrote this gratitude post and tagged 102 folk:
“Massive gratitude post!
It’s been several centuries since I’ve done a gratitude post… and I’m feelin’ mighty lucky indeed.
Normally I name names and specifically mention individual thingees but today…
Methinks I’m just going to free-write and y’all can guess who I mean.

I returned to IM back in 2011, and since then….
… the world has been the limit. It really has!
I have been extremely blessed by seeing colleagues become true friends….
… and people upon whom I can count when the going gets tough.
I’ve been called out when I was wrong, praised when I did well, and challenged because of my admittedly bizarre ideas (cheatsheets? Really? I mean, Jeepers Barb, how on earth can anyone make money with cheatsheets? 🙂 ) and it’s been utterly glorious.
I think one of the best parts about being an Internet marketer is realizing that contrary to much of my corporate life (Imanager excluded of course) … virtual friends can be just as true as IRL friends. I’ve supported others in their fundraising and folks have supported me… simply because of the caring relationships that have developed over the vast buy button creation journey.
I have been humbled by hearing how my actions have inspired others to change their lives. It is truly a gift to have such an impact… and one that I’m thankful for, every day.
And family-wise… being an Internet marketer has enabled me to be there for my family at a moment’s notice. Giving up the whole launch circus ensures that I’m accountable only to me so if by chance I miss my BarbLing date… only I am affected (which enables me to put my family first whenever possible). I am utterly the luckiest person on earth to have the Magnificent Ling Kids clan and my spouse, but more on him at the end.
And being closer now to age 100 than age 0, one thing I’ve internalized…
==> Folks, life is too short to be a tweeblehead.
Life is *too short* to break up friendships/relationships because of other peoples’ personal/political beliefs.
*Life is just too darned short to drama-king-ize!* Kindness shines FAR more than being a jerk.
It really does.
And marriage…. well… marriage is *tough*. There will be times that test your bonds and times that might shatter them as well. If you can walk through the blazing fire, however, you and your spouse end up emerging far stronger than you ever thought was possible.
Truly.
The area in which I am the most blessed, however, is my husband. 24 years it will be this year. 24! And we’ve been through sooooo much, it would make Michael Bay yearn to add it to his latest Transformers movie. To those who have been given much, much is demanded … and yep, it is worthwhile indeed.
So in closing, *thank you all* who have been part of my life! The good points, the bad points, the highlights, the visit-the-Titanic-at-the-bottom-of-the-ocean lights…. All of you have contributed experiences to me that have helped me craft myself into the tremendously marvelous person I am today. And much gratitude to you all for the unique, character-building, exciting, dramatic, coffee-and-gym-filled memories…. the good, the bad, the *everything*!

Yesterday I awoke to a massive infestation of tweebleheadedness in our caffeinated moose group. 🙁
Said caffeinated moose group is
See, a HTT individual (holier than thou) decided to be a jerk…
… and that’s what I was alerted to.
Sigh.
So I posted the following words from The Kingly Moose:
““PSA – Tweebleheads be gone!”
“Hear ye, hear ye.
Your most benevolent ruler, the Kingly Moose…
… is sad.
Very sad.
Sadder than his trusty sidekick Barb Ling would be, say, after she finally got to sleep from pulling a 100 hour week just about…. and woke up to massive tweebleization and jerks infesting our wonderful land.
Look, my wonderful subjects.
My regal domain, “I Love Snowdogs” is a place of *love.*
And *kindness*.
Get that *love*? Get that *kindness*?
Kindness is NOT judging others for their actions (unless they are proactively abusing anything).
Kindness is being supportive and *there* for our community.
Kindness is NOT being a jerk!!!!!
I cannot believe I need to instruct my trusty-now-caffeinated-and-extremely-pissed-off-side-kick Barb Ling to post this PSA.

Yep yesterday was mainly a “See Barbara. See Barbara sleep! Sleep Barbara, sleep!” which happily… I did.

Came home, brought out the big guns:

I’m falling asleep on the keyboard….
And I called it a day.
Slept a lot, woke up this morning at 3:30am….
And I’m doing much much MUCH better today.

And I can so relate to what that kid was going thru.
