Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!
Sunday saw the Zombie Arm return.
Wah!
Yep – arm started bothering me again. So perhaps yet another doc visit. Delightful… not!
But there were some good times….
Lunch date with the husband! Notice the chili peppers. 🙂
And several of my friends were going thru some character-building times, so I wrote:
“Life never comes with guarantees.
You never know if you’ll be honored with the chance to experience the next moment in your life…
… or if that moment will still see you in the same health, or worse, or ….
… not even come at all.
No matter.
While it’s popular to say, there are no second chances, quite often the future is always in motion….
… and what might seem insurmountable *now*…. will emerge tomorrow, gilded with the shine of future potential, future promises.
Don’t be afraid to be bold, be determined, take chances, run the risk of being laughed at or scorned….
… because if *you* don’t kick fate in the right direction, nobody will do it for you.
You can be gifted with the most precious relationship imaginable and then totally hose it up… for issues that when you look at it 20 years down the road… could possibly been solved with honest, heart-felt communications.
But even then, you can choose to grow, repair and make things better than ever.
It’s a *choice*. Not a given. And not something that anyone is entitled to, for that matter as well.
Your takeaway?
Life is too darned short to worry about what others say/think/do or act.
Focus on yourself and those you love….
… and let the rest of the world fall into place after that.

My youngest gets back home today, yay! The event was the Student Government thingee. He was away for the weekend and methinks it was a grand growing experience.
Here in Lingland, we had a nifty family lunch out:
We had our eldest college-bound kid with us as well (who is going to college when his peers will be a junior in high school). Rather enjoyable time.

Yesterday was ALSO a grrrrrr.
One, because I was an idjut.
Have you ever been in a FB group where everyone dogpiled on someone else for all the wrong reasons?
We’re talking sanctimonious tweebleheads.
Well, I discovered one when I was half asleep in our moose group and very unfairly banned the original poster.
The next day I investigated it more… and realized I was wrong.
So The Kingly Moose gave voice:
What do you do when you hose up in your Caffeinated Moose group?
You take ownership, of course.
“Public Apology by The Kingly Moose for his sidekick Barb Ling’s mistake:
“Hear ye, hear ye, oh loyal subjects of the Kingly Moose:
I want to publicly apologize to Luz for my decidedly uncaffeinated servant Barb Ling who removed you 2 days ago.
Her actions were wrong, I have scolded her appropriately, and we welcome you back to our community!
In addition, some of our loyal subjects… well, they transformed themselves into sanctimonious tweebleheads and We Do Not Appreciate That!!!!
