Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!

Yesterday was a grand day indeed.

Took the husband to see Wonder Woman and it was refreshingly magnificent! In a nutshell:

“…Well! I will admit… today was most excellent indeed.

Had a swimming date with the husband, and then we watched Wonder Woman. A very empowering movie that was (will share spoilers at a later time).

And in other “life is good!” moments, I learned that a very precious friend of mine was handling her hero’s journey with *courage* (ie, refusing to let life get her down, and instead, take the lessons learned and build up her future from there).

Yay!

Honorable Son 2 updated me regarding eBay and Instagram (woot there too!).

Honorable Son 1 gave me my 9th opportunity to tell a friend that my kid will soon be a high school drop out (it never gets old!).

And my eldest kids are earlobe deep into summer school and work.

And me, workwise?

Ever come up with a nifty neato coolio rad (notice my modern terminology) idea…

… and then after exploring it more in detail….

… you realize that not only will it present a gloriously satisfying solution to that age-old question….

… but it kinda sorta levels *you* up as well.

The challenges I’m facing is because its a far different concept than my usual Barb Ling Profit/Authority packages… well, such things like that require 39876 times the standard effort.

So wah. But it will evolve into a hugely profitable WAH for the future! 🙂

First, whenever possible… always choose to view personal hero’s journeys as one of the *most treasured experiences you can possess*.

To those who have been given much, much is demanded… and the self-confidence you end up seizing… well, it makes walking thru the fire something you can proudly wear as an invisible Badge of Honor.

Here in Lingland, the husband and I took out a good friend who is going thru some challenges. I hope we helped.

And yesterday, I wrote the following:

“Do you think you should value taking part in something… if you’re not the final winner?”

So many people in IM give off this YOU MUST BE THE BEST!!!!! ANYTHING ELSE, YOU’RE TWEEEEBLY! aura…

… and I just don’t believe that whatsoever.

Sometimes the effort of even taking part requires a huge leveling up of confidence….

… and the benefits to THAT can never be underestimated.

I think sometimes, people get so hung up on “looking the best” they don’t care about their own personally “achieving the best.”
