Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!
Stop the world I want to get off!
Yesterday was driving all together…. close to 348753875 miles (ok 400+).
Packed my spouse and other 3 kids into 2 cars and we drove up to my eldest’ college…
She did 4 years in 3 and graduated early!!
Left 3 kids up there (they are packing up her apartment and driving home today) and husband and I came home…. at 11pm last night.
What.a.trip.
I vividly remember driving my eldest there, 3 years ago, for the Open House….
… seeing the massive amounts of cows out there….
She had not yet decided on IF she would attend that college….
And now 3 years plus some later,
She graduated!
She will be coming home today.
And leaving on Wednesday with her sister.
What.a.day. Got home 11pm last night (hence the lateness of this morning perkup!).
So I’ll write up stuff…. when I’ve recovered because…..

Don’t forget yesterdays:
Where was I? Ah yes, Sunday!
Today will be a HUGE quickie – might see my eldest graduate from college!
I’ll be sure to take pix.
Yesterday was hell with a capital H.
Lots of drama, lots of angst….
Ever have one of those moments when the wounds you thought were completely healed from 15 years ago or so… get totally ripped open once again?
And then you get pissed off at yourself for the super weak loser you were back then?
Yep. Not fun. Processing it thru. Things things happen but yep…
Time to break out the comfort foods!
What should I indulge in?

Earlier today in a marketing group, the subject of making marriages last came up.
And I contributed some of my secrets (’twill be 24 year this year):
“Realize everyone failed mind reading 101. It takes 2 to break a marriage and 2 to make it work. Never assume you know what the other person is thinking. Always apologize if you are wrong. Always express your appreciation for the other.
Listen to intentions and not words.
And never take offense if none is meant.”
This was ‘way before the Character-Building-Moment-Of-Hell happened today, mind you.
Afer that “See Barb totally blindsided” experience, I went downstairs to Honorable Husband’s office and announced, “I need 100% of your attention.” He paused his work, turned around, and I shared the current events, mentioned how much I regretted the times I lacked a spine, and expressed again my extreme remorse… how much I wish I had bought a clue sooner.
He listened intently and responded (I’m paraphrasing here), “the past is the past…, you couldn’t have done differently given the person you were and the maturity you had, at that time. Let it go.”
You know something?
I am *so* lucky to be married to this man.
We’ve had good times and bad, glorious times and eeek! times, just about every possible challenge life could throw at us… and you know something? We rebounded grandly and became even stronger together.
Words really cannot express just how much I love this man. The fires we both have walked thru during the past 23 years – I’d do it 394767 times more, simply to have what I possess today.
So yep… gratitude. I am very blessed indeed.
Your takeaway? A successful marriage is NOT perfect love, nor is it between perfect people. Rather, it exists between imperfect people who, by themselves, are content and have a great life on their own… but when together, they *enhance* each other’s life experience.
And that is a beautiful thing indeed.”

The good news is the one page goodie is highly popular!
The could-be-better news is that I tested out adding Resell Rights and MRR rights to the upsell pages….
And that just plain killed conversions. 🙁 Talk about a painful less!
So today, I’m going to fix that and give customers an opportunity to get MRR rights at the FINAL end of the funnel….
