Where was I? Ah yes, Monday! I am not getting out of bed today methinks – totally destroyed my legs/ankles etc from walking all over creation.
Good news is my son *adored* the event! And not only that, but by following one commend in RichJerk (be open to opportunities) I scouted out on the most popular aturthority language blogger (who already has a site built and an affiliate program) and we chatted about driving traffic, the benefits of auotresponders, etc.etc.etc.et.c
Long story short – I bought a domain that will highlight his products (world class they are, and NOT $7 jobbers) and will use the Rich Jerk site-building method to monetize it. Well, yesterday…. I chatting him up bigtime at the convention (wowed my kid, said blogger was one of his heroes and omg, Mom is talking to him!).
He runs a superb site… and has stellar affiliate program…. that’s run by Infuisionsoft!!
Remember what I had read in the RJ about being open to opportunities that hardly any other marketer is taking advantage of….
I decided, right then and there, I would be the bridge that connected language learning wannabes with the people who truly deliver (and just don’t take the money and run).
I owe that idea to RJ concept – be alert to opportunities.
Long story short – I now a friendship with the person in question…. and will be able to make my new site shine.
