Alas, as adults, often we tend to stamp down on creativity-in-the-moment because of pesky things like:

* The idea we’re adults now and have no time for it

I will admit…
I did not resonate with most of the ideas, but this one is stellar and knocks it out of the park:
“Try the 30 Circles Test
This great creative exercise comes from researcher Bob McKim, and is featured in Tim Brown’s TED talk Creativity and Play.
Take a piece of paper and draw 30 circles on the paper. Now, in one minute, adapt as many circles as you can into objects. For example, one circle could become a sun. Another could become a globe. How many can you do in a minute? (Take quantity over quality into consideration.)
The result: Most people have a hard time getting to 30, largely because we have a tendency as adults to self-edit. Kids are great at simply exploring possibilities without being self-critical, whereas adults have a harder time. Sometimes, even the desire to be original can be a form of self-editing. Don’t forget-good artists copy, great artists steal. ”
While I totally disagree with that last statement, this is is a gem:

That idea of NOT being self-critical…
Well, that leads to NOT second-guessing yourself which leads to NOT analysis/paralysis which DOES lead to…

And….. Where was I?
Ah yes, it’s Saturday!
Actually it’s kinda like Friday at around 11:15pm?
And wow.
Today was basically, see Barbara collapse in a heap and actually enjoy it!
In other words – the launch is going very well, and my body figured that it could now take things easy.
The body timing is a bit off, mind you…
There’s still another day before the husband and I send Kid4 and Kid4Friend back to school via train.
I will admit, you know…
I was seriously dreading this.
2 weeks of dealing with both kid4 AND Kid4Friend (whom I had never met)… well, it caused me a lot of worry prior to the event.
And then Kid4Friend came down with whatever it was…. so I spent a good amount of time being MamaBear and taking care of him. Soup, meds, lots of soup, did I mention soup, etc.etc.etc.etc….
It was all good! Kid recovered and a really great time was had by all.
I will SOOOO miss actually both of them. Kid4’s friends are all really cool… and it was wonderful to get to know this person too.
You know…. it made me post the following:
You know how business is extremely important (because without money coming in, its kinda sorta tough to pay for the necessities of life)?
Equally important is to take out quality time to be with family and friends as well.
Tomorrow spring break will end for Kid4 and Kid4Friend and let me tell you…
The memories created will last a lifetime.
