Ah yes, it’s Monday!
Okay I lied. It’s Sunday at 8pm or so.
And yep, the snow has started.
However yep, I’m above ground so yay.
The Kingly Moose has been enjoying becoming a frosty Moose:
No gym, I will admit.
Actually really, not much of anything except some basic marketing and then I kinda sorta said to myself, I’ve earned this time.
I’m going to take it easy!
So, had some excellent talks with all my kids…
… spent time reading…
… had good husband talks….
All in all THAT, well, THAT was fine.
And I’m realizing that hopefully tomorrow, I can (gasp!) sleep in…
So writing my newsletter now.
OH! That’s what else happened!
I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 3.
And I’m sure the movie must have been glorious fun.
However, one of the previews to it dealt with things I totally disagreed with.
It kinda sorta knocked the whole ability to enjoy it askew…
So I left after 20 minutes with the attitude of Truck it All, I’m in flamethrower mood and cross me at your own peril!

Ah yes, it’s Sunday!
You know, growing up is a hero’s journey.
I firmly believe that.
So is parenting.
I so so so so SO firmly believe that too, having reached the f*ck it all regarding some of the kids.
Long story short, my husband and I had an idea and assumed everyone would be fine with it.
Long story shorter, they weren’t.
Long story shortest, we might just cancel the whole thing.
I can truly understand why the reasons for some of the kids reacting as they did (especially my eldest 2. Their reactions are totally 140% valid).
But wow. I sure should have done a hell of a lot better in teaching my younger kids, be grateful for what you do have and the opportunities you did get. Sigh.
However, before that, it was a good day with the husband:
Got to swim!
Yay!
And FB showed a memory from 4 years ago:
Today, it’s supposed to snow massively, so I think I’m just going to hide under my blankets for a few centuries until tomorrow appears.
I have soup, I have other foods, I have my Star Trek, I will be fine! 🙂
